FAQ's about our service
- Are you a Home Health Care Agency or a Nurse Registry?
- We are a Home Health Care Agency. As such, we are licensed and bonded through the State of Florida.
- What is a Home Health Care Agency?
- The caregivers who come to your home through a home health agency are employed by that agency. These employees are managed and supervised by their employer. The agency is responsible for Workers Compensation insurance, all payroll taxes, licensing, bonding and liability insurance. The agency is responsible for all risks associated with work performed by the employee.
- What is a Nurse Registry?
- A Nurse Registry is simply a list of caregivers available in your area. When you hire a company that is a nurse registry, they sub-contract the caregiver to you. The nurse registry is not responsible for liability or payroll taxes, and may not carry Workers Comp coverage.
